All you Lego lovers, 2013 is a treat for you! Legoland has announced it will open its first US hotel on 5 April 2013 at its Californian resort. The new 250-room hotel will offer guests a LEGO themed stay and has around 3,422 LEGO models that will be on display using over three million LEGO bricks. It is divided into three toy themes: Pirate, Adventure, and Kingdom. The exterior has a LEGO dragon guarding the entrance and all of the rooms are decorated too. Each room also has a treasure hunt game inside, while the hotel itself will include the Bricks Family Restaurant, a Skyline bar (for mommy and daddy at the end of the day), a very convenient Lego gift shop, a heated swimming pool, and more. Around the hotel guests will find exploding toy boxes, treasure trails and disco-themed elevators with mirror balls and flashing lights.

Ok, so the pizza is probably the best comfort food created in the history of the world. Admit it, you reach out for that hot, gooey, cheesy slice when you are everything from happy, sad, sick, hungover to just plain bored. Pizza lovers, answer me this – what’s better than a pizza. The people over at Singapore’s Pizza Hut seem to believe that the answer is two pizzas! For the holiday season, they have created a monstrosity called the “Double Sensation”, which is pretty much what it sounds like – two pizzas in one! The outer pizza’s crust is stuffed with melted mozzarella, Parmesan and cheddar cheeses that ooze out, and is topped with turkey ham, bell peppers and mushroom and a salsa sauce. The inside ring of the pizza is an entirely different pie, whose crust is filled with chicken sausage and cheese, and topped with smoked chicken, zucchini and a pepper Alfredo sauce. In true 80s dessert style, they finish it off with a (inexplicably) single cherry in the middle. It sounds both delicious and disgusting at the same time. Don’t scoff, you know you want to taste it! Can I have mine with extra cheese please?

What makes a photo great? I’m sure every photographer has their own personal theories; but one thing is for sure, the art of photography is so much more than just pointing and clicking. The innovative toy company Hasbro has always created products after understanding theor audience’s needs. Be it the Pink Monopoly or the Tooth Tunes Toothbrush, they have evolved from time to time. Now, after a 13-year-old teen McKenna Pope, started an online petition on change.org, complaining that the toy’s gender-specific packaging excluded her 4-year-old brother, who dreams of being a chef and asked for the oven as a Christmas present. The petition gained over 45,000 signatures and top chefs including Bobby Flay, Jose Andreas, Jeff Mahin, Joshua Whigham, and Manuel Trevino, voiced their support for the campaign. In response, Hasbro execs invited McKenna and her and unveiled the plans for their newest prototype — a gender-neutral Easy-Bake in black, silver or blue.

This year, luxury car brand Mercedes Benz released an innovative video that features the power, performance and engine capability of their new 2013 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3, while also keeping the spirit of the season intact! The video shows how the cars fiery hot engine can be used to bake Christmas treats! First, a tray of pre-cut cookie dough is placed on top of the car’s SLS 6.3 liter AMG V8 engine. It then sprints flat out for a few laps around a track in Germany. When it finally halts to a stop, the cookies are perfectly baked! These are then consumed fresh out of the engine “oven” by the car’s crew! Now that is some heavy duty baking. But you know what to do the next time you are expecting guests and can’t seem to make your oven work!

Ok, so Santa expects all the little boys and girls to be nice all year long. But we are pretty sure even Santa would have a hard time keeping the naughty thoughts out of his head when he sees this Christmas video! Victoria’s Secret has released a video online to celebrate the holiday season; and what a celebration it is! The video features some of the luxury lingerie brand’s most famous models, including Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson and Erin Heatherton decorating the tree, lighting candles, arranging presents and generally doing everything one does on the holiday. Of course, they are doing this in their sexiest Christmas-themed lingerie. But that’s not all! The scantily clad models are going about their business while also singing, or at least trying to sing, the carol Deck The Halls. All we can say is, thank god the visual of the models is so distracting, because the singing itself is pretty bad. Of course, this is all part of the gag. The video is basically a manufactured goof reel, with the models making gaff after gaff, and basically butchering the song.
