Size matters and how! Ask Karl Lagerfeld who made the point in this years Paris Fashion Week’s exquisite Chanel show where everything screamed big. Of everything oversized and impactful the one style that stood out very prominently was the giant hula hoop bags intended for use as a beach bag. It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that this big beauty could pass off as the worlds biggest bag. I’m pretty sure the trend will catch on like wild fire as we girls never have enough space in our bags and this pretty much takes care of everything.
Talking about big things, the other trends spotted were chunky accessories, over-sized pearls and thigh-high dresses galore, some sequined and glittering, others studded using the label’s trademark pearls. The grand show was held at a grand venue, the Grand Palais, Paris.
