Bang & Olufsen unveils the BeoPlay H6: The headphones of the future

Bang & Olufsen have always made some of our favorite music devices, like this Beolit 12 for iDevices. Their latest offering has us even more excited. Bang & Olufsen have unveiled the new BeoPlay H6 Headphones – a super soft, flexible over-ear headphone that promises “sound performance that takes audio to another level.” While B&O have always been associated with the highest quality products, the new headphones will be especially impressive owing to the use of quality craftsmanship and latest technology with enduring materials to make a solid product. They claimed to have designed the headphones on the basis of their extensive research that studied the shapes and curves of the human ear, which converted into specific geometrics regarding the shape of the earpiece. The headphones will minimize sound leakage, while revealing all the fine details in the music regardless of the current volume level. It even features an internal bass port, around 40 mm custom designed drivers and neodymium magnets which are perfectly angled.

The new Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 will be made out of anodized high-grade scratch-resistant aluminum which is extremely durable. The earpieces are covered with solid cowhide leather from New Zealand. It will be available for purchase later in the year. It is expected to retail for $399.
