The Dell XPS 15z has been announced today. It’s touted to be the world’s thinnest 15 inch PC. I don’t know if that’s completely true, but it certainly looks sleek and is very lightweight. It might be light on the weight, but it loaded with features like a 2nd generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor under the hood, Nvidia GeForce GT graphics, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 8-hours of battery life, and more. It’s a good rival to the MacBook as it’s made with the same kind of looks. For those who love how the Macbook looks, but prefer a PC, this one is god sent. The laptop has a very nice keyboard that comes with back-lit chiclet-style keys with speakers on either side of the keypad, and the body is made of an silver-colored aluminum/magnesium alloy. It’s definitely inspired by the MACBook, but at a more affordable price. It’s a good thing that it doesn’t mimic the price as well! The starting model will set you back by $1000. As you keep upgrading, the price will go higher as well. However, there’s no arguing that you are getting a big bang for the buck.
