While the whole world seems to be trying to produce the sleekest, slimmest, or smallest devices, the people over at Toshiba seem to disagree. At the recent Toshiba World 2012 in Bonn, Germany, they unveiled a prototype of their new tablet – the AT330. It is a huge 13.3” monster, by far the largest tablet to date. The tablet is equipped with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front facing, an HDMI port, a full SD card slow, a SIM card slot and Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich. Besides these, it also sports an actual TV tuner and an antenna. It remains hidden for the most part, but can be pulled out when you need it.
The Toshiba AT330 will have to be pretty awesome to make people overlook the huge size. It won’t exactly be the easiest machine to carry around. There is no word, as yet on pricing or availability.
