We’re reviewing the work of contemporary artist Jen Stark whose majority of designs involve paper sculptures that draw their inspiration from microscopic patterns in nature, wormholes and sliced anatomy. Her work is also distinguished for incorporating ideas based on replication and infinity, echoing patterns and intelligent designs found in nature. The first design in the picture gallery is like a colossal paper block that has been scoured to reveal multicolored paper layering. Then there is the hanging lantern that is more of a convex version of the idea in the first design. If you have liked her design, you might want to check out her collection and shows on the Jen Stark website.
