LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition unveiled


After launching the revolutionary LG G Flex, the company is all set to release the Google Play Edition of the LG G Pad 8.3. The special edition tablet will come with pure Android 4.4 KitKat operating system without the Optimus user interface as found in the LG G Pad 8.3 version. The tablet that can be a better deal than the Google Nexus 7 is the first non-Google Android tablet to run KitKat and grace Google’s online store. The G Pad 8.3 packs an 8.3-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. LG has powered this tablet with quad-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 mobile processor with 2 GB RAM. The tablet has a 5 megapixel camera at the back to click high quality images and record 1080p HD videos. The front facing 1.3 megapixel camera allows making video calls.

The Google Play Edition of the G Pad 8.3 will retail in the US for $349 and is available in glossy indigo black.
