This morning I woke up wondering why Samsung is always in trouble. What initiated this thought? The fact that Samsung, instead of simply exchanging the device and making good with the consumer, after his Galaxy S4 that caught fire while charging, went ahead to send him a document that states that they will exchange his defective device only after he pulls his initial video from YouTube. Samsung smarties perhaps don’t realise the power of Internet, which leads to their plan backfiring. You can upload what you like but there is no way delete it, not from people memories anyway. The video that had 45,000 views at the time of posting, now has over 277,000 views after Samsung sent the hush demand letter. Not the best move I guess.
Samsung is clearly desperate to keep all S4 issues under the radar but this hammer has clearly fallen on their own foot. To witness Samsung goofing up check out the video discussing the letter and the incident.
