After CES, we are eagerly waiting for the upcoming MWC 2014, and Sony has already announced its new 2014 portfolio to be launched at the event. However, the most interesting device, that caught our attention from the range is the budget friendly Sony Xperia E1.An addition to Sony’s budget friendly range this smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA screen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and a 233ppi pixel density. The highlight of the smartphone is Sony’s latest audio technologies including a 100Db loudspeaker, which can deliver clean and loud sound. According to the company, ‘even a motorcycle won’t interrupt your music.’ xLoud and ClearAudio + enhancements have also been thrown in along with a dedicated Walkman button and shake-to-shuffle controls. Other specifications include a 1.2GHz dual core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, HSPA+, a 3MP rear camera, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a 1700mAh battery amongst others.
Sony Xperia E1will retail for €175 ($238) and will be released around the end of MWC 2014 in February. It will be available in black, white and purple.
