The latest Alcatel OT-808 mimics the appearance of a notebook

It’s a widely known fact that most phones that come from the home of Alcatel are entry level phones. We shouldn’t expect anything greater from here as it will only lead to disappointment. The new Alcatel OT-808 an average phone as far as specifications go, but its looks are anything but run-of-the-mill. It is a clamshell with a “netbook look and feel” that features a full QWERTY keypad, a 2.4 inch QVGA internal display, and a 1.1 inch external monochrome OLED display with 128 x 36 pixels. It also tries to entice you with social networking integration, email, IM, Opera Mini browser, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, 2MP camera, and dual-band GSM connectivity. As long as looks are your priority, you will be happy with this baby. There are no details on when it will be available, but the price tag should be no more than $125.
