Barbie Digital Dress rocks this wearable technology LED Dress
There is nothing bigger in terms of fashion than wearable technology. The possibilities are endless, and we are just about beginning to scratch the surface of its potential. Someone who has always managed to be on the forefront of every fashion turn is everyone’s favorite childhood doll Barbie. And she has managed to do it once more! Check out this brand new Barbie Digital Dress Doll, which features an LED touch-sensitive dress! How cool is that! Barbie’s latest techno-clothing was recently unveiled at the New York Toy Fair. The adorable little black and pink dress is fitted with and can be illuminated by 114 tri-color LEDs. This part of the dress can controlled by a 4.5 square inch (29 sq cm) resistive touch panel which can be drawn on with fingers, or an included stylus. And of course, the stylus is pink in color; what else! You can choose between three modes of play. The first lets you choose from ready-to-go graphics like hearts and fireworks, the second lets you draw custom designs, while the third one lets you watch designs respond to sound and music. The most fun part lets you select the appropriate mode by touching a button on Barbie’s heart necklace.
The Barbie Digital Dress Doll makes a fashion statement by combining fashion, sound-activation and on-trend technology. It will be released in August and will cost $50.
