As much as she likes her cute and cuddly image, the truth is that Hello Kitty is as socially conscious as the next person. This election season, everyone’s favorite feline is making sure she reaches out to her fans. If you happen to be in the vicinity of Washington this week, keep a lookout for the Hello Kitty for President Campaign bus! How exciting does that sound? The worldwide brand is opening a special pop-up shop at the LivingSocial Space this week for all fans and members of the Friendship political party! This pop-up shop features exclusive, limited edition Hello Kitty merchandise. It also features partnerships and giveaways from Georgetown Cupcake and Sephora, fun graffiti on the walls and art by Tim Conlon and Nicole Bruckman, as well as exciting new product launches of 12-25 exclusive merchandise from the Hello Kitty for President line. The first 250 purchases will get a $5 Sephora gift card, while makeup artists are giving makeovers to shoppers.
The Hello Kitty for President Campaign bus pop-up shop is situated at LivingSocial Space, 918 F Street NW, and will be open between 10am to 8pm from November 1st – 6th.
