Lexus LFA given a matte pink wrapping in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Racing sports and Vin Diesel movies have conditioned us to think of supercars as entirely masculine affairs. However, what if you gave this big manly sports car a pink makeover – will it be girly then? Check out this spectacular new Lexus LFA in a beautiful hot pink shade. Lexus of Brisbane in Australia are manufacturing a limited edition new matte pink shaded LFA, that too for a very noble cause. Lexus introduced the pink LFA in support of the “Faingaa Twins”, to honor them for their role as ambassadors for the National Breast Cancer Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Fainga’a Twins are Australian Union Rugby players, who, along with a host of other VIPs, will be part of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation’s Hope Links Golf Day charity event. The Faingaa Twins’ logo is represented on the front fender of the car. Lexus released a couple of the pictures online, and then asked their Facebook and Twitter users if they liked the color. As we suspected, most of the reviews are wildly supportive.

The stunning Lexus LFA will go on sale next spring starting at $700,000. Noble cause aside, we actually really love the bright pink color, and feel like it is exactly what this hard metal car needs. Reports suggest that this color will probably not be exported to other countries, and is a one off for Lexus of Brisbane.
