Pong tournament turns Skyscraper into Vintage Video Game
Sky-high skyscrapers define the city’s skyline. They make for amazing architectural structures and also attractions. No one could’ve imagined a skyscraper to turn into a vintage video game. Light shows and LED displays on skyscrapers are passé but this building in Sao Paulo, Brazil has been transformed into a massive screen for pedestrians to use to play video games. The brainchild of Dr. Frank Lee, the co-founder and co-director of the Game Design Program at Drexel University is actually a 437-foot tall building turned into one of the largest video game screens in the world. Pong tournament will run from April 19th to April 24th. The players will be battling it out on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum, across the Schuylkill River.
