Hi Fido is the cutest limited edition speaker available

Hi-Fido_speaker.jpg
Hi-Fido by Matteo Cibic has been recently announced. It is a limited edition and only a tiny number of 10 pieces will be available in the U.S. It is an audio speaker that use the acoustic properties of ceramic to diffuse hi quality sound with a bass reflex system. Besides boasting of excellent sound quality, it's definitely going to catch the attention of dog lovers. The dog form it comes in is quite quite. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the sound quality isn't like a howling dog. It plays music from all kinds of devices through a cable connection. Unfortunately there is no word on the pricing yet, but be patient, we will keep you posted.

TriStar promotes freezing jeans over washing them

freezing-jeans.jpg
I had heard that freezing your jeans keeps their blue from fading away too quick. But I always thought this color preservation technique was an old wife's tale. It does seem quite unlikely that by fossilizing your jeans into ice will help them retain the color. However, TriStar, a Brazilian level is campaigning just this method now. The Rio-based company’s most recent denim collection, made from organic cotton, comes with directions to trade your washing machine for your icebox. Jandira Barone, CEO of TriStar says, “After use, just put them inside a plastic or cloth bag and leave them in the freezer for 24 hours to kill the bacteria." Do keep in mind that this will have no effect on the stains. You will need to use the good old washing method for that. Or you can just hide the stains by using the other side of the jeans as they are reversible.

Heart shaped iPod Dock makes a sweet present

iPod_nano_Maxel_Cococoron.jpg
Another overly corny little gizmo for Valentine's Day. Would you place your iPod on a heart shaped dock? Because that's just what this is. It's cute enough and it will surely sweep an ultra feminine and romantic woman off her feet. If the girl has a dark and twisted heart, you can even gift her the black colored one. The rest are pink and red. Good way to rest and charge your iPod. It's compatible with iPod classic, iPod Nano and Touch.

Piggyball holds your money like no other

Piggyball.jpg
This is a really cute porcelain ball that is actually a piggy bank. It's aptly called the Piggyball and has slots for money all around. You can keep filling up the ball with ka-ching through these slots. Surprisingly enough, no money falls out of it at all. It's very convenient to place it as the weight of the money in it keeps it from rolling around. However, it's a shame that you have to destroy it to retrieve your money! I definitely wouldn't want to do that. Maybe this way I'll actually end up saving some.

Samurai Sword Chopsticks will help you attack Sushi

samurai-chopsticks.jpg
I have a complete love for Japanese Food and the Asian culture. There's no way i can eat some noodles or fried rice with a pair of chopsticks. I had the Star Wars Chopsticks, but now my new fascination is the Samurai Sword Chopsticks. It's a series of utensils that pay tribute to real life, 17th century warriors Date Masamune, Sanada Yukimura and Maeda Keiji. They are perfect replicas of Samurai swords with beautiful handles. The makers of the these swords meant to destroy food say “dispatch sushi with honor.” I want to get a pair and dig into some good old Tempura!

Hap.tickle Greeting Dress tickles you for real

Hap.tickle-Greeting-Dress.jpg
I'm really fascinated by Hap.tickle GREETING dress that has been designed by Lina Saleem in co-operation with the FraunHofer IZM. It's simply unique because it can intimate the tickle feeling send by a friend or loved one via SMS from far way. It is created to send a tickle through your body with the help of small, vibrating motors integrated into the back and sides of the garment. You might be familiar with virtual hugs and pokes, this is only taking it a notch higher. There's no way this will ever replace a real touch, but you have to admit that it's better than nothing.
